The objective of this training is to emphasize the common deficiencies found during PSC inspections in Australian ports to increase the technical skill of the crew to enable them to complete the particular tasks and be ready not only before PSCs but for every expected and unexpected situation to be safe.

Course Duration
Depending on the participants’ background and knowledge of the subject. Average time is 1.5 hours for CBT module and practical exercise.

Port state control (PSC) is an inspection regime for countries to inspect foreign-registered ships in port other than those of the flag state and take action against ships that are not in compliance
