Description
This module presents the different shipboard resources, a structured approach on how to manage them and their application to shipboard setting. The course also deals with making the appropriate decisions concerning resource allocation, assignment and prioritization.
This Training also focuses on the role of assertiveness in leadership, obtaining and maintaining situational awareness and dealing with resource constraints.

Course Duration
Depending on the participants’ background and knowledge of the subject. Average time is 4,5 hours for CBT modules and practical exercise.
Course Requirement
In order to develop a Safety culture onboard and to improve the efficiency, it is very important to understand what drives human behaviour and how it can be managed.
