Course Content

After completing this training, the learner will be familiar with the following topics:
 Identify and understand the properties of various liquefied gases and their associated hazards.
 Apply health, safety, and environmental precautions specific to working on liquefied gas tankers.
 Carry out safe cargo operations on liquefied gas tankers, including loading, unloading, and transfer operations.
 Understand the requirements of the International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk (IGC Code).
 Utilize gas detection equipment and understand the importance of proper calibration.
 Apply emergency response procedures in the event of a gas leak, fire, or other emergency.
