1192 - Protect Your Back

This course highlights the risks of cumulative back injuries in the maritime industry. Rather than focusing solely on sudden accidents, it addresses how routine tasks—lifting, twisting, and working in confined spaces—cause gradual wear and tear on the spine. Participants will learn to treat the spine as a fragile mechanism and adopt proactive strategies like the LITE assessment and proper lifting mechanics to ensure long-term physical health and career longevity.
