 Explain the purpose and benefits of an ISO 9001 internal audit and the auditor's critical role in driving continuous improvement and maintaining certification.
 Describe the structure and core requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard (Clauses 4-10) and identify evidence needed for each major clause.
 Apply the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle to the auditing process and overall QMS management.
 Demonstrate the ethical principles of auditing, including objectivity, impartiality, and due professional care.
 Plan and prepare an internal audit by defining the scope, establishing criteria, reviewing QMS documentation, and developing effective open-ended questions.
 Conduct an audit effectively by using techniques such as observation, sampling, document review, and skillful interviewing to gather objective evidence.
 Generate clear, factual audit findings, differentiating between conformities, nonconformities (major/minor), and opportunities for improvement.
 Understand the post-audit responsibilities, including the closing meeting, ensuring corrective actions address the root cause, and compiling a comprehensive audit report for management review.
